Wade the shallow grass flats south of the parking area and cast silver spoons or topwater lures into the sandy potholes as the outgoing tide pulls bait toward the deeper channel.

Don't just cast at the bridge. Walk out to waist-deep water where the grass flat ends and drops into the channel about 200 yards out. This 'Drop-Off' is a highway for Pompano and Ladyfish.
